Job summary

State of Missouri seeks a Research Data Analyst in Jefferson City to manage, analyze, and report child abuse prevention program data. The role focuses on data systems, quality improvement, and facilitating data-driven decisions in collaboration with program staff and funders.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field or substantial data/tech experience, with strong SAS, SQL, R or Python skills and REDCap expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, finance, or related field.
• Four or more years of professional or technical experience in statistics, data collection, data management, or research with a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Knowledge of data resources, data quality, data planning, and data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Partner, communicate and problem-solve with staff and funded programs to achieve shared goals.
• Assist with oversight, management, and administration of program data in REDCap with data quality assurance.
• Prepare and analyze program performance reports using SAS, epidemiological methods and data-driven insights.
• Lead continuous quality improvement for CTF-funded early childhood home visiting programs.
• Respond to internal and external data requests.
• Prepare and present data reports for the Executive Director, Board, grantees and stakeholders.
• Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from REDCap via APIs.
• Create, configure, and maintain REDCap projects, forms, surveys, and longitudinal structures.
• Back up Senior Research Analyst and maintain familiarity with data privacy laws.
