Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Research Compliance Administrator to support the Office of Research and Grants. The role oversees IRB, IACUC, training compliance, and data-use authorization, with responsibility for regulatory documentation, system administration, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years' experience in research administration, research compliance, or higher education administration.
• Working knowledge of IRB and human subjects research regulations (45 CFR 46).
• Must pass a background check.
• Support university mission and Doctrinal/ethical statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage IRB submission workflow from intake to closure and determine readiness for review.
• Evaluate site authorization requests and ensure FERPA and data-use compliance.
• Administer IACUC processes including pre-review and meeting preparation.
• Administer the institutional CITI Program and verify training compliance.
• Maintain electronic IRB management systems and coordinate system upgrades and reporting.
• Update office procedures and support policy changes as needed.
• Advise Grants team on compliance requirements for projects and provide operational support.
