Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an Associate Scientist II to join the CMC - DS Process Development Group in Cambridge, MA. The 12-month contract role focuses on developing and scaling oligonucleotide synthesis processes to integrate Client chemistries into our platform.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years of lab experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a part of the CMC - DS Process Development Group, responsible for the process development to incorporate Client chemistries into our manufacturing platform.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Support oligonucleotide synthesis method development, optimization and scale-up


• Support downstream processing method development


• Execution of in-process analytical testing


• Working with research and process scientists to develop robust processes for Client chemistries

Skills

• Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, LC-MS etc.). Related hands‑on experience is preferred. Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture process including phosphoramidite chemistry, chromatography, ultrafiltration etc. is a plus.


• Experience in record-keeping and excellent laboratory documentation practice are required. Strong commitment to high laboratory and scientific standard; ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory work environment; assist in routine lab and equipment maintenance.


• Good communication skills are a must for this position. The successful candidate must be a responsible and proactive individual who is able to work as a team player in a highly dynamic environment with aggressive timelines.
