Altasciences is seeking a Research Associate to perform procedures on laboratory animals, collect data, and support study directors in GLP-compliant environments. You’ll handle tasks such as blood draws, dosing, and euthanasia while ensuring accurate data recording and SOP adherence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a BS/BA in a scientific field preferred, and 0–1 related experience. Proficiency with MS Office and attention to detail are essential.

Mansioni

• Perform procedures on study and stock animals following SOPs and protocols.
• Assist with blood draws, catheter placement, dose administration, and euthanasia.
• Record, enter and review raw data for studies.
• Set up for procedures and maintain ancillaries on study animals.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as glucometers and thermometers.
• Monitor and report changes in animal health and room conditions to the team.
