Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Research Associate to support day-to-day laboratory operations within the Laboratory Sciences department. You will independently perform data collection/review, assist with study worksheets and SOPs, and help maintain lab equipment and processes.

The role requires an Associates degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1–3 years of lab experience, with basic-to-intermediate computer skills. This position is located in the United States and offers a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment PM, etc.).
• Collect and organize laboratory data according to the appropriate oversight document (ex: Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs).
• Create and/or revise SOP and SOP forms.
• Work independently in study-related tasks.
• Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records.
• Assist with method development activities.
