Job summary

BEPC Inc. in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Research Associate - Assay Development (CDx Pharma Services) to support early-phase assay development for companion diagnostics in clinical trials. This lab-focused role combines experiments, documentation, and basic computational data processing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and 1–2 years of lab experience, along with strong communication skills and interest in assay development and computational biology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• 1–2 years of laboratory or industry experience.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and accurate documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow GMP/GLP and Design Control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development, and manufacturing experiments for assay development projects.
• Assist with the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments contributing to project strategies.
• Support early-phase assay development activities prior to transfer to CAP/CLIA-certified laboratories.
• Prepare technical reports, experiment summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
• Present and discuss experimental results with department members and project teams.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
• Follow GMP, GLP, Design Control, and other regulatory procedures.
• Review relevant scientific literature and maintain current knowledge.
