Job summary

Advanced Group seeks a detail-oriented Laboratory Research Associate to support laboratory operations and experimental workflows in a research environment. You will perform mammalian cell culture, sample preparation, and data documentation while following safety standards.

You will maintain records, support automation, assist with reagents and inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely research execution in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory experiments according to established protocols and support automated workflows utilizing liquid handling and sample processing systems.
• Perform mammalian cell culture, cell counting, media preparation, and other routine laboratory procedures.
• Prepare reagents, consumables, and laboratory materials required for experimental activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks and data management systems.
• Assist with data collection, quality control checks, and organization of experimental results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine laboratory and workflow-related issues.
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and laboratory organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely execution of research activities.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures, operational guidelines, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating, maintaining, or supporting laboratory automation systems, including liquid handling platforms.
• Familiarity with cell-based assays, flow cytometry sample preparation, molecular biology techniques, or related laboratory methods.
• Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), or similar data management platforms.
• Basic data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as Excel, GraphPad Prism, or comparable software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business and research needs.
