Position Summary

Under close supervision of senior research staff, conducts activities to support research projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research activities per protocol, including patient recruitment, screening, laboratory experiments, informatics, and possibly animal labs.
• Maintain clean laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Collect, evaluate, and interpret research data; update records and databases.
• Stay informed of new protocols and procedures.
• Order supplies as needed.
• Coordinate work among laboratory staff to ensure quality results.
• Comply with all policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills: General knowledge of research fields.

Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

Experience: No specific experience required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds constantly. Work may involve hazardous chemical, biological, or radioactive agents.
