Weber State University in Ogden, UT is seeking a Research Assistant to support Computer Science faculty with research activities, programming tasks, hardware setup and maintenance across projects.
As a pooled hourly position with 20 hours per week and a four-month window, you will experience a variety of topics depending on the professor assigned and complete payroll paperwork before starting.

To work closely with a professor in Computer Science to support research endeavors, programming, hardware setup, maintenance, etc.
Each professor will have different research areas and targets, as a result, there will be a wide range of research topics depending on the specific professor that you end up working with.
Junior-level standing in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
If you are hired, please keep in mind that you will need to complete the appropriate Payroll and HR documents prior to beginning work.

Due to the Affordable Care Act ( ACA ), individuals who have worked in a salaried capacity for Weber State University are ineligible to be hired as an hourly or adjunct employee at Weber State for six months.
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision. Not required
