Basic responsibilities include project work is typically team focused and includes creating/enhancing web based software applications and databases through client-side programming, server-side programming, configuration and logic, database design and programming, functional testing, and training users on software.
Independent work is similar in form, by typically smaller in scale. Programmer may be assigned specific applications to oversee and maintain through subject matter expertise, troubleshooting, code development, and system development.
Administrative duties including attending team and project meetings, meeting with campus collaborators, and some administration of software and applications.
