Job summary

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection seeks a Research Analyst Supervisor to lead a team within the Bureau of Energy and Technology Policy, based in New Britain, CT.

This full-time position reports to an Office Director and supervises staff while contributing to policy and program development, particularly in building and transportation decarbonization, electrification, energy efficiency, and clean energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Eight years of professional experience in research, data analysis, or economics.
• At least one year conducting research at the Associate Research Analyst level or higher.
• Knowledge of research methods, statistical analysis, and relevant state and federal laws.
• Strong supervisory ability and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
• Experience leading or supervising environmental or energy professionals.
