Guidehouse is seeking a Research Analyst II to support federal client research, including lab and field work in microbiology and chemistry. You will collect and analyze environmental samples and document procedures, results, and observations. Drafts of project reports will be prepared for publication.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in marine biology or related fields with 2+ years’ experience, and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Experience with molecular methods is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in marine biology or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience conducting laboratory testing and analysis.
• Experience collecting environmental samples from marine environments.
• Ability to document laboratory activities, analyze data, and support technical reports.

Responsabilidades

• Support research and development activities, including laboratory and field-based research.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze samples.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analyses, including propagation, and molecular detection and/or characterization of microorganisms.
• Draft project reports and manuscripts for publication.
