Job summary

Career Team is seeking a RESEA Coordinator to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up for RESEA participants in Texas. You will support participants seeking employment, training or education to become financially stable and employed.

Responsibilities include leading workshops, documenting eligibility, and guiding individuals through employment plans while maintaining compliance and meeting benchmarks. Onsite work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment.
• Able to relate to participants and be culturally sensitive.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to learn specialized databases/software.
• Ability to work with diverse customers and be culturally sensitive.
• Motivate clients toward achieving goals.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, organizational, and written/oral communication.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to RESEA participants who are selected to participate.
• Lead RESEA workshops and orientations for participants introducing programs and resources.
• Report participant non-compliance or eligibility issues to UI State entities.
• Enter data into Work In Texas and other required databases.
• Guide jobseekers through individual employment plans based on goals.
• Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs and services.
• Refer individuals to appropriate services and follow-up on activities.
• Maintain accurate case files with eligibility documents and compliance.
• Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks.
• Participate in staff events, training, and supervision.
• Complete all required reports and adopt a ZAG mindset.
