Job summary

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a part-time Rescue Partner Programs Specialist to join our team, working Thursday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at our Papago Park Campus. You will support lifesaving efforts via Rescue Partners, Working Cat, Project Reachout, Community Cat, and Transport programs, coordinating transfers and maintaining records.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, excellent communication and public speaking skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma OR GED.
Must be 21 years old.
Veterinary field experience preferred; health checks, TPR exams, vaccinations preferred.
Minimum of two years' experience in providing exemplary customer service.
Experience with cash handling operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Explorer.
Proficiency with multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
Ability to operate in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to handle animals in all conditions.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
Excellent oral, written and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate animal transfers and communicate with rescue partners and community members.
Maintain accurate records and ensure animals move safely between shelter locations and off-site partners.
Build relationships with rescue partners, outreach organizations, clients and internal teams while providing customer service.
Transport animals and support medical and intake processes.
Assist with special projects as needed.
