Job summary

ADT is seeking a Resale Sales Representative to reactivate interest among existing customers and introduce modern security solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of re-engaging a key customer segment, delivering tailored presentations, and developing lasting relationships as you expand ADT’s reach.

You’ll focus on cross-selling security, automation, and life-safety features, while handling post-install follow-ups and lead generation. A dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit helps drive success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Re-engage previous customers, not cold-calling strangers. That means shorter sales cycles, higher conversion rates, and real potential to build lasting relationships.
• Provide personalized solutions that combine security, automation, and life safety features, all tailored to their space and lifestyle.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospects, emphasizing the unique benefits and advantages of our products and services compared to competitors.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm that commitments were fulfilled and to generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities: identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
