CCS Systems is a growing practice area focused on fundraising operations, information, and change management reporting to the EVP of Data & Strategy. We partner with large clients to measure impact, optimize processes, and make data-informed decisions to enhance prospect relationships.

Job Description

CCS Systems & Change Management advises on ‘data in practice’—how information is gathered, entered, and used—to support fundraising performance. We seek directors with expertise to oversee and execute data-related projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with fundraising operations, Salesforce, integrations, data challenges, and solutions. Strong analytical skills and the ability to contextualize data infrastructure gaps are essential. The role involves managing projects requiring technical proficiency and supporting colleagues as a subject matter expert.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from start to finish
• Applying strategic thinking to identify core issues
• Communicating effectively with diverse audiences
• Working independently and shaping the growth of this practice area

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce as an admin and/or developer
• Technical skills to design data management solutions
• Knowledge of systems architecture and data governance
• Familiarity with data analysis and large datasets
• Understanding of the data lifecycle
• Stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Continuous learning mindset

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases, CRM, ERP in nonprofits
• Healthcare, higher education, or nonprofit sector experience
• Storytelling and public speaking skills
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Workflow modeling (e.g., Visio)
• Knowledge of SQL, Python a plus
