Job summary

Disabled Veteran Solutions (DVS) is seeking passionate Customer Care Advisors to support our mission-driven service team. This 100% remote role offers a stable full-time schedule, Monday–Friday shifts, and an extensive 7-week orientation with ongoing support to ensure success.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), at least 1 year in insurance operations or related remote roles, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

• Minimum of 1 year in insurance operations, remote medical or technical role, or related field.

The Mission

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time, remote
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Eastern Time)
• Training: Comprehensive 7-week orientation with full training and ongoing support
• Environment: 100% remote work opportunity

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance operations, remote medical or technical related role or a related field
• Proficiency with various web-based platforms and tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, social work, or mental health
• Familiarity with medical terminology and health benefit plans
• Proven success in remote customer facing role, especially in complex, high-volume environments

Position Details

• Start date: We are hiring for multiple starting dates in November and January.
• Schedule: 8-hour shift. Training: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Eastern Time).
• Pay: $18.00/hour starting rate / $19.00/hour starting rate for bilingual candidates; plus bonus opportunities.

A pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check are required prior to employment.

Salary: $18 - $19 per hour
