What are your contributions to the team?
  • Provide onsite and remote support (technical and non-technical) to Bombardier Aircraft Operators within your assigned region (Dallas, TX) and for technicians and aircraft in work.
  • Assist the Bombardier Service Center team with aircraft concerns while promoting the Bombardier brand and adherence to the Customer Credo.
  • Own issues or potential issues, ensuring resolution to the satisfaction of the customer and Service Center objectives.
  • Interact with and support customers at all organizational levels, including Owners, CEOs, COOs, VPs, Directors, and operational staff.
  • Support Bombardier Service Center personnel, including technicians, customer service staff, and management.
  • Assist in addressing warranty, engineering, parts, and SMART SERVICES issues related to work at the Service Center.
  • Educate, coordinate, and mediate technical items such as advisory wires, service bulletins, technical publications, and campaigns.
  • Stay current on technical aspects of supported aircraft, including modifications, manual revisions, and service bulletins.
  • Attend scheduled technical forums with your Bombardier team.
  • Assist in processing warranty claims on green aircraft, and vendor warrantable issues.
  • Provide on-site training to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver factual, concise reports to customers and internal departments.
  • Prioritize and escalate concerns appropriately within customer and Bombardier organizations.
How to thrive in this role?
  • Hold a college diploma in Aviation Maintenance or have at least 5 years of experience in business jet maintenance.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant endorsement is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance, modification, and repair experience on jet aircraft.
  • Extensive knowledge of Bombardier Customer Support programs and contacts.
  • Knowledge of Learjet 40 and 70 series, Challenger 300 series, 600 series, and Global platform aircraft.
  • Understanding of Bombardier Product Support policies, especially regarding warranty and allowances.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions aligned with Bombardier Support policies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient computer skills and adaptability to software environments.
  • Basic management skills such as budgeting, time management, and goal setting.
  • Excellent people skills, including active listening, conflict management, and coordination.
  • Knowledge of Bombardier Service Center policies and roles.
  • Availability 24/7 to support customer and Service Center issues as needed.
