You will be the primary contact for members, ensuring compliance with FDCPA and related regulations while collaborating with supervisors to reduce losses and preserve member relationships.

The role requires attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: Working knowledge of legal collection process and proven negotiation skills.
• Skills: Proficient with computers, good keyboarding, clear verbal communication, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; prior collection experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as secondary contact for repossessions and approve reinstatement, recall, or redemption of repossessed vehicles.
• Contact delinquent members to determine intent to pay and bring resolutions within policy limits.
• Submit paperwork to satisfy judgments and release garnishments as needed.
• Work to minimize delinquency and loan losses while meeting departmental goals.
• Utilize skip tracing techniques and various systems to locate members and update accounts.
• Promote cross-selling and maintain positive member relations while collecting delinquent balances.
• Interact with members by phone, text, and in writing, ensuring compliance with regulations.
