Job summary

All Star Recovery in Mississippi seeks field agents to locate repossessed vehicles, secure them, and tow to the nearest facility, coordinating with internal staff and external teams. You’ll document activities accurately, work independently with minimal supervision, and meet repossession goals.

DOT physical and Class D CDL are required or obtainable; prior law enforcement or military backgrounds are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven ability and experience working in an outside environment without direct supervision.
• Previous law enforcement or military a plus.
• DOT physical card and Class D commercial driver’s license required or obtainable.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• Previous experience in tow operations or repossession is encouraged; industry certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and locate known locations of cars out for repossession.
• Secure vehicles and tow them to the closest company storage facility.
• Document activities timely and accurately.
• Communicate with internal staff, external teams, and customers during delinquencies on payment agreements.

Job description

The Repossession Field Agent's job involves communicating with internal staff, external team members and consumer’s delinquent on a payment agreement.

You will be investigating and tracking the known locations of cars out for repossession, securing them, and towing the vehicles to the closest company storage facility. Once towed, you will be responsible for appropriate, timely and accurate documentation. No Cold Calling-ALL accounts provided by established business.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Proven ability and experience working in an outside environment without direct supervision

Previous law enforcement or military a plus

Either possess or can acquire a DOT physical card and Class D commercial driver’s license

Basic mechanical ability

Previous experience working as a tow truck operation, or in the repossession industry, as a flatbed operator, self-loader or tow dolly is encouraged, Industry certification a plus

ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Basic computer skills including internet and email, own a smartphone with service

You must have a clean driving record, pass a background and drug test

Able to read, write and speak English with reasonable capability to be able to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors
