Equinix is seeking a Data Quality Manager to oversee data explorations and audits, managing data quality issues across various applications. Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the team with data exploration, data audits, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Manage, troubleshoot and resolve Data Quality issues related to various applications and owners
Provides support to the Global and Regional data remediation teams, who are responsible for maintaining data quality
Supports data clean-up projects Globally and Regionally
Identifies root causes related to newly discovered issues
Guides Global Data Quality strategy, tool development and implementation practice to Cross Functional Data teams
Perform data impact analysis and drive consistent data solutions Globally to maintain alignment in relation to business process
Create and manage recurring and ad hoc reports
Provides Project Management support to ensure cross-functional teams and tasks are kept on track, with having ownership in not only driving the progress of the initiative but also engaged in data research and cleanup efforts
Learns comprehensive End-to-End (E2E) Quote to Cash (Q2C) process to understand potential system and/or process gaps in order to communicate improvement and/or enhancement ideas
Becomes Subject Matter Expect (SME) on the Product Hierarchy and how data flows between integrated end-to-end systems
Qualifications
1+ years related experience preferred, 5+ years of experience in a business, finance, or IT analytics role highly preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or relevant engineering discipline preferred
Experience in exhibiting influence over business partners to drive desired change or goal outcomes highly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, with ability to speak and write with all levels of internal and external customers professionally and comfortably
Strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to anticipate and address issues early
Ability to make decisions independently, knowing how and when to escalate issues
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects for various internal customers
Possesses natural curiosity and thinks outside the box
Excellent quantitative skills, including data manipulation, modelling, and visualization
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Intermediate knowledge of SQL preferred
