Job Description:
OMNIA Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our reporting and analytics team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in business intelligence and data analytics. You will play a key role in supporting the development and optimization of reporting frameworks and assist in transforming data into actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Reporting Support: Assist in the development and optimization of reporting frameworks and data visualizations. Ensure that reports are delivered on time and meet organizational goals.
  • Data Integration: Help integrate data from various sources into centralized repositories. Support teams with data integration tasks to ensure accurate and comprehensive analysis.
  • Performance Metrics: Assist in the design and implementation of performance metrics and KPIs. Help maintain dashboards and reports that support decision-making at different levels of the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving data workflows and reporting processes. Help identify opportunities for streamlining tasks and improving efficiency.
  • Basic Reporting: Support the creation of standard reports and assist in benchmark comparisons. Help utilize data visualization tools to make complex insights more accessible.
  • Project Support: Assist in managing data reporting projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective prioritization under guidance.
  • Technical Skills: Use tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Salesforce to analyze and visualize data. Learn to apply tools such as SQL and Alteryx for data-related tasks under the supervision of more senior team members.
  • Collaboration: Work with other team members and departments to share insights and learn best practices. Participate in the team’s ongoing development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications and Characteristics for Success:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, including internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau (basic dashboard creation), Excel, and Salesforce is a plus. Familiarity with SQL or other programming languages (R, Python) is preferred but not required.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and identify trends. Strong interest in learning how to provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate reporting.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive approach to solving problems.
