Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a Repair Technician to perform in-home service and warranty repairs for finishes, cabinetry, and related installations. The role emphasizes precise communication, field accuracy, and superior customer service standards.

The Repair Technician will handle tasks from touch-ups and door replacements to cabinet assembly assistance, documenting issues with notes and photos, and coordinating with scheduling while maintaining safety on job sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cabinetry, carpentry, or similar fields preferred
• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must supply your own tools, cordless preferred (miter saw, brad nail gun, Impact driver, hammer, screwdrivers, caulk gun, tape measure, jigsaw, multitool, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic math skills/ability to work with fractions
• Ability to learn and enter information into internal computer programs
• Ability to manage time throughout the day to complete all scheduled jobs
• Perform repairs based on manufacturers specifications
• Knowledge of installation processes based on manufacturers specifications

Responsibilities

• In-home service and warranty repairs (including but not limited to: touch ups, adjustments, door/ drawer/ frame replacements, installation of shoe and crown molding, etc.)
• Assist with cabinet assembly as needed
• Taking detailed notes / photos of any issues noticed on site
• Completing all jobs scheduled daily; having clear communication with the scheduling team
• Assist in training new hires
• Clear communication with homeowners during warranty repairs
• Compliance with safety standards in all areas (jobsite, warehouse, etc.)

Job Summary

MetroKraft Interiors is a trusted interiors partner specializing in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and finish selections for residential and commercial projects. By combining industry expertise with exceptional customer service, we provide high-quality products, innovative design solutions, and a seamless experience for builders, contractors, and homeowners.

The Repair Technician executes day-to-day operations of service and warranty repairs through accuracy, engagement, professional communication, and “Superior Service” as a standard for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must possess the ability to stand for extended periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between jobsites; to handle tools and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 50 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and products.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• General working conditions


• Occupied homes for homeowner appointments


• Jobsites in all stages of construction (some homes may not have AC / Heat installed yet during certain stages of construction)
