Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a Repair Technician for MetroKraft Interiors to perform in-home service and warranty repairs, including touch ups and cabinet adjustments. You will document issues on site and communicate with homeowners during warranty repairs.

Ideal candidates have cabinetry or carpentry experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license, with the ability to read a tape measure and manage multiple jobs daily in a home construction setting.

Qualifications

• Previous cabinetry/carpentry experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must supply your own tools (cordless preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Ability to learn and enter information into internal programs.
• Ability to manage time to complete daily jobs.
• Perform repairs per manufacturers specifications.

Responsibilities

• In-home service and warranty repairs (touch ups, adjustments, door/drawer/frame replacements, molding installation).
• Assist with cabinet assembly as needed.
• Take detailed notes/photos of issues on site.
• Complete daily jobs with clear communication to scheduling team.
• Assist in training new hires.
• Maintain clear communication with homeowners during repairs.
• Comply with safety standards on all sites.

JOB SUMMARY

MetroKraft Interiors is a trusted interiors partner specializing in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and finish selections for residential and commercial projects. By combining industry expertise with exceptional customer service, we provide high-quality products, innovative design solutions, and a seamless experience for builders, contractors, and homeowners.

The Repair Technician executes day-to-day operations of service and warranty repairs through accuracy, engagement, professional communication, and “Superior Service” as a standard for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In-home service and warranty repairs (including but not limited to: touch ups, adjustments, door/ drawer/ frame replacements, installation of shoe and crown molding, etc.)
• Assist with cabinet assembly as needed
• Taking detailed notes / photos of any issues noticed on site
• Completing all jobs scheduled daily; having clear communication with the scheduling team
• Assist in training new hires
• Clear communication with homeowners during warranty repairs
• Compliance with safety standards in all areas (jobsite, warehouse, etc.)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Previous experience in cabinetry, carpentry, or similar fields preferred
• High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must supply your own tools, cordless preferred (miter saw, brad nail gun, Impact driver, hammer, screwdrivers, caulk gun, tape measure, jigsaw, multitool, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic math skills/ability to work with fractions
• Ability to learn and enter information into internal computer programs
• Ability to manage time throughout the day to complete all scheduled jobs
• Perform repairs based on manufacturers specifications
• Knowledge of installation processes based on manufacturers specifications
