Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Service Technician II to repair, service, and build hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems in a service shop.
You will disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair components, fabricate parts, test performance, and prepare units for shipment or storage. You may coach less experienced technicians and assist customers with technical questions.
Under general supervision, the Service Technician II repairs, services, and builds
standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Service Technician II may provide guidance to less experienced Service Technicians.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of shop experience or an equivalent combination.
