Motion offers hydraulic and mechanical system repair services from a fully equipped shop in Houston. The Service Technician II will repair, service, and build standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical components, under supervision.
Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, fabricating parts, assembling equipment, testing performance, and guiding junior technicians. A valid driver's license is required; three to five years of shop experience preferred.
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Service Technician II repairs, services, and builds standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Service Technician II may provide guidance to less experienced Service Technicians.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED Three (3) to five (5) years of shop experience or an equivalent combination.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics. Strong communication skills required. Basic mechanical knowledge. Ability to operate shop equipment safely. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Valid Driver's License.
