Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX seeks a Data Analyst to support nationwide data, trends, and analysis for the Service/Repair Quality management team. You will collect data from multiple sources, clean and interpret datasets, and create dashboards and reports for leadership.

The role emphasizes data reliability, setting standards, identifying root causes, and assisting with improvements. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in quality or telecom, plus experience with SPC/FMEA, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience in telecommunications.
• Preferred 1+ years’ experience in a quality or wireless telecommunications position and long-term customer contact and relationship building.
• Experience setting up Quality/Sustaining engineering processes and procedures.
• Experience with OEM handset products and project/product management skills.
• Experience researching and resolving customer technical complaints and issues.
• Knowledge of SPC and FMEA applications; strong data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from multiple sources and convert it to meaningful information for the organization.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data sets to answer questions or solve problems.
• Monitor, collect, and collate repair data using field metrics.
• Create dashboards and reports for Samsung Quality Management and Care Teams.
• Identify root causes and support recommendations for improvements.
