Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Service Coordinator to support repair and reconditioning for internal and external customers. You will quote, prioritize, and manage repair orders while driving process improvements and maintaining accurate documentation.

The role is onsite in Houston, TX, requiring five years of hands-on repair/reconditioning experience, blueprint reading skills, and strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; experience in repair/reconditioning preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication details.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills.
• Experience with repair processes, quotes, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate repair and reconditioning projects with team leaders.
• Provide job status updates to Sales team and manage production schedules.
• Create repair quotes for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation, drawings, quality plans, and checklists.
• Use ERP/proprietary systems to order parts and track lead times.
• Coordinate outsourcing, track costs, and ensure margins.
• Contribute to 5S and process improvement initiatives.
