Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks an on-site Service Operations specialist in La Porte, TX to provide expert repair and service support for PHE, HSS, and SEP product lines. You will coordinate workshop service jobs, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with engineering to craft effective repair solutions.

You will also host customer inspections, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain repair documentation and parts data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on repair/manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading technical drawings and blueprints; machining and welding knowledge.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and business systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer equipment and repair processes across product lines.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and track service jobs through the workshop with status updates to sales and customers.
• Research equipment history, interpret drawings/blueprints, and collaborate with engineering and workshop teams to develop repair solutions.
• Schedule and host customer inspections and equipment testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support business systems like ONE4AL.
• Maintain technical databases, repair documentation, inventory records, and spare parts information.
