Job summary

Gables Engineering is seeking a highly organized Repair Operations Coordinator to support our MRO operations. You will coordinate the repair lifecycle of aerospace components and serve as a key link between customers, engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams.

The role focuses on ensuring repairs are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with aerospace industry standards while maintaining exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with data, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders, from intake and evaluation through shipment and customer delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor repair progress to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and maintain repair documentation, including: Work orders, Certifications, Traceability records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding turnaround times, pricing and quotations, and warranty determinations.
• Escalate critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations as needed.
• Monitor customer communications through email and web portals, ensuring timely responses and prioritization of urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate information in customer portals and internal ERP systems.
• Partner with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues, expedite repairs, and improve operational performance.
• Manage digital documentation processes, including scanning, indexing, and record retention.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within repair operations.
• Support special projects and additional operational initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Do

As a Repair Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring repairs are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with aerospace industry standards.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or other regulated aerospace environment.


• Familiarity with aircraft component repair processes, rotable inventory management, or aviation supply chain operations.


• Experience supporting OEM customers, aviation programs, or contractual service agreements.


• Experience managing customer web portals or similar digital platforms.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing and walking.


• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force when necessary.


• Visual acuity required for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing documentation and data.
