Job summary

Gables Engineering, a HEICO company, is seeking a highly organized Repair Operations Coordinator to support MRO operations in aerospace. You will coordinate the repair lifecycle, act as a communication hub among customers, engineering, production, quality, and logistics, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders, from intake and evaluation through shipment and customer delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor repair progress to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and maintain repair documentation, including: work orders, certifications, invoices, shipping documents, traceability records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding repair status updates, turnaround times, pricing and quotations, warranty determinations, and escalation of critical AOG situations.
• Monitor customer communications through email and web portals, ensuring timely responses and prioritization of urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate information in customer portals and internal ERP systems.
• Partner with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues, expedite repairs, and improve operational performance.
• Manage digital documentation processes, including scanning, indexing, and record retention.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within repair operations.
