Job summary

Bellco Credit Union is seeking a Loss Mitigation OREO Specialist to manage and mitigate losses on REO properties. You will oversee foreclosure processes, coordinate with borrowers, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining the organization’s professional image.

You will work with the Manager of Collections/Loss Mitigation and collaborate with loan servicers, real estate agents, and legal teams to maximize recoveries and minimize risks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 3 years of real estate collection experience and/or foreclosure/loss mitigation or legal background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Bellco’s Core Values in all member interactions.
• Evaluate real estate loss mitigation requests and determine solutions.
• Contact members to resolve delinquencies and obtain information for loss mitigation.
• Conduct pre-foreclosure reviews and refer loans timely.
• Prepare foreclosure referrals and supporting documents for attorneys.
• Oversee management, marketing, and sale of foreclosed properties to minimize losses.
• Review documents for accuracy and respond within deadlines.
• Track mortgage loan activity in foreclosure and coordinate with servicers and attorneys.
