Job summary

Rondout Savings Bank is seeking a Loss Mitigation & Quality Control Supervisor to oversee loan servicing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will lead a team handling collections, loss mitigation, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and REO management.

The role requires 1–3 years banking experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. A detail-oriented approach and ability to manage reporting to investors are essential.

Qualifications

• Educational & Certification Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience Qualifications: Must have 1-3 years of experience in banking.
• Exhibits strong analytical and query writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, along with analytical and organizational skills, customer service experience, ability to work independently and as a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection, loss mitigation, foreclosure recommendations, and charge-offs for mortgages, home equity and consumer loans in line with policies and investor guidelines.
• Assist with collection of Commercial loans when needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investors and MI collection and loss mitigation products.
• Manage REO and rank disposition with investors and MI companies.
• Oversee bankruptcy actions from notification through clearance.
• Supervise foreclosure actions from referral through reinstatement or acquisition.
