Job summary

Newrez is seeking an REO Eviction Specialist I to manage a nationwide portfolio of foreclosed residential properties and coordinate with approved attorney firms for evictions. The role supports 200–300 occupied assets and requires organization, client communication, and compliance with eviction timelines.

Responsibilities include monitoring properties, coordinating with eviction attorneys, and ensuring timely actions while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year real estate, legal, or mortgage loan servicing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a fast-paced workload and meet deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of clients' properties.
• Build strong client relationships and keep them informed on progress.
• Monitor properties from acquisition to possession.
• Assign occupied properties to approved eviction attorneys.
• Monitor attorney firm performance.
• Work with listing agents on Cash for Keys amounts.
• Adhere to state eviction timelines.
• Review property photos to identify personal property for eviction.
