Job summary

Newrez LLC is seeking an REO Asset Manager to oversee liquidation of investor-owned properties and manage a 125-175 property portfolio. You will supervise direct broker relationships, evaluate asset condition and value, and coordinate maintenance and marketing strategies.

The role requires a college degree and at least five years of REO experience, with strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. This position is based in Coppell, TX and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• College degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years REO experience required.
• Real estate licenses or courses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maximize return on REO assets via direct broker listings.
• Ensure asset condition and value are understood by all parties.
• Control costs related to sale and maintenance of REO assets.
• Arrange services for maintenance, valuation, and marketing of assets.
• Manage performance of listing agents.
• Adapt marketing strategy to changing market conditions.
• Defend asset management strategies to clients and investors.
• Collaborate with REO Closing Team for timely closings.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Suggest improvements to the REO department.
