Job summary

Goodhue Boat Company in Meredith, NH is seeking a Full-Time Rentals Manager to oversee the Rentals department and support the General Manager in delivering award-winning customer service.

You will lead a diverse team, manage scheduling, rentals, registrations, and inventory, and collaborate with Service and Sales to ensure smooth seasonal transitions. This on-site position offers growth opportunities and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing employees, including youth staff.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Solid scheduling and staffing experience in multi-shift environments.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Youth labor laws.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and support a team of employees of all ages.
• Manage workforce scheduling and daily assignments.
• Handle rental bookings, payments, registrations, and documentation for newly acquired rental and boat club boats.
• Ensure accuracy with retail transactions and cash drawers.
• Manage rental accessories and maintain inventory.
• Maintain clear communication across departments.
• Collaborate with Service on rental boat damage.
• Collaborate with Sales on end-of-season transitions of rental boats.
• Assist the Sales team with boat shows, registrations, and data entry when needed.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
