Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an energetic Rentals Lead to help run the daily operations of our rental shop. You’ll work with the Rental Shop Supervisor to ensure top-notch service, accurate transactions, and guests leave with the right gear and a great first impression of Sugar Bowl.

This role emphasizes gear fitting, equipment tuning, orderly shop workflow, and proactive crowd management during peak times.

Formación

• At least one season in a rental shop.
• Experience with RTP POS and tech modules.

Responsabilidades

• Ring up rentals and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Complete all rental forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Help guests find their perfect fit with properly fitted boots.
• Fine-tune skis and snowboards for each guest.
• Keep equipment moving throughout the resort with daily transport.
• Welcome guests back at the end of the day and help with equipment returns.
• Keep the rental shop clean, organized, and looking its best.
• Assist in maintaining rental shop operations, cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
• Lend a hand with crowd flow during our busiest moments.
• Share Sugar Bowl knowledge and answer guest questions with a smile.
• Pitch in with snow removal before, during, and after storms to keep things safe and accessible.
• Help oversee rental techs breaks.
• Take ownership of our core values at work, and know and understand our policies and procedures.
• Help maintain the inventory of Rental gear.

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Rentals Lead to help lead the daily operations of our rental shop. In this role, you'll work closely with our Rental Shop Supervisor to keep the shop running smoothly, deliver top-notch service, and make sure every guest hits the mountain with the right gear and a great first impression of Sugar Bowl.

Sugar Bowl Resort has been proudly independent for over 80 years and is one of the oldest ski resorts in California. Situated atop beautiful Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney. • You've got at least one season of rental shop experience under your belt
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with RTP POS and Tech modules

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and move around the workshop for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
• Capable of regularly lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely operate power tools and tuning machinery
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, winter weather conditions for extended periods
• Manual dexterity for precise equipment repair and tuning work
• Able to walk and stand safely on varied terrain, including snow and ice
• Willing and able to shovel snow as needed
