Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA is hiring a Ski and Snowboard Rental Technician to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival through equipment return. You will size, fit, and adjust boots, skis, and snowboards, while maintaining safety and efficient service in a dynamic, seasonal mountain setting.

Paid training is provided, and the role includes duties across a busy Rentals department. This position offers hands-on customer interaction, teamwork, and opportunities to grow within the

Qualifications

  • Previous rental, ski, snowboard, or outdoor recreation experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong commitment to guest service and safety.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to smile and engage with guests.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn rental software.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when fitting and adjusting equipment.
  • Ability to learn and properly use equipment adjustment tools and rental software.
  • Ability to follow detailed equipment setup, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and move equipment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately size, fit, and adjust rental equipment, including ski and snowboard boots, helmets, skis, and snowboards.
  • Inspect and adjust skis, snowboards, and bindings according to established safety procedures.
  • Ensure rental equipment is properly maintained, organized, and ready for guest use.
  • Operate rental software and other basic computer systems to process guest rentals.
  • Explain rental equipment and procedures to guests and answer questions as needed.
  • Assist guests throughout the rental process, from equipment selection and fitting through equipment return.
  • Communicate equipment concerns, safety issues, or guest needs to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rental area.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as needed. Training and required equipment certifications will be provided.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the Rental Department.

As a rental tech associate, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a seamless, enjoyable experience on the slopes by providing top-notch equipment and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable service to guests throughout the rental process.

  • Comfortable working in cold indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

  • Enthusiasm for skiing, snowboarding, outdoor recreation, or the mountain resort environment.

  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and equipment guidelines.

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak-season periods.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages are a plus.

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing an excellent guest experience.
