Job summary

Trane Technologies in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Rental Account Manager to drive the development and expansion of our temporary rental solutions for commercial HVAC systems. You will develop and close opportunities, design technical solutions, and coordinate quotes and shipments with Rental Services teams.

Required are 3+ years in HVAC or rental services, a BA/BS, and a valid driver’s license; travel to customer sites is expected, with exposure to outdoor and mechanical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
• 3+ years experience in commercial HVAC systems or rental equipment/services.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and close sales opportunities to grow emergency response rentals and non-emergency markets.
• Create and design accurate technical solutions based on temporary needs and existing rental equipment.
• Develop rental quotes from initial request to proposal to complete turn-key solutions.
• Coordinate with Rental Services teams to develop market strategies for temporary solutions.
• Coordinate shipments and returns with the Rental Services fulfillment team.
• Travel to customer sites; outdoor work and variable conditions may apply.
