ASCENDING seeks a Rental Property Inspections Technician to conduct thorough on-site inspections of multifamily properties in the Glen Allen area. You will assess interior and exterior conditions, housekeeping standards, and maintenance practices to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will document deficiencies, propose corrective actions to owners and managers, and prepare detailed reports for compliance monitoring.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in property management, maintenance, or construction.
• Ability to perform physical inspections, including stairs, walking grounds, crouching, and moving through parking lots.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check.
• Frequent travel; company vehicle provided.

The role involves evaluating property conditions, maintenance practices, capital needs, and housekeeping standards, and ensuring that all inspections align with established protocols and program requirements. This position will document deficiencies, provide actionable recommendations to property owners and agents, and support overall compliance and monitoring efforts. Collaboration with various stakeholders is an essential aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in property management, maintenance, or construction.
• Ability to conduct physical inspections, including climbing stairs, walking grounds, crouching, and moving through parking lots.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with inspecting occupied units.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR (motor vehicle record) check.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with NSPIRE Inspection Protocols.
