Real Property Management Richmond Metro is seeking an Inspector Technician to conduct property inspections, document maintenance needs, and communicate findings to residents, owners, vendors, and staff. The role focuses on single-family homes in Richmond and surrounding areas, requiring knowledge of common home systems and strong documentation skills.

The position involves using RentCheck software, identifying urgent issues, and providing clear repair recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in home inspection or property management preferred.
• Knowledge of residential systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation.
• RentCheck experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough annual property maintenance inspections.
• Identify maintenance, safety, and property-condition concerns.
• Provide clear and detailed repair recommendations.
• Perform move-out inspections and document required turn work.
• Conduct and document quarterly inspections per company standards.
• Submit inspection reports using RentCheck software.
• Input maintenance work orders based on inspection findings.
• Certify smoke detectors and replace as needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, owners, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain company vehicles and inspection equipment.
