Job summary

Bobcat of the Rockies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Rental Manager to lead the Rental Department and manage all aspects of equipment rental. The role is Monday–Friday dayshift with a total compensation of $70,000–$85,000 annually.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and customer service skills, and experience with construction equipment. You will handle inquiries, coordinate transportation, maintain availability and gross profit, and ensure proper documentation and safety

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excel in a high-volume fast paced environment.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Good computer and systems knowledge.
• Working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with construction or ag equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all rental needs and inquiries (walk-ins, phones, emails).
• Responsible for equipment rental operations.
• Maintain guidelines on availability and gross profit.
• Lead the Rental Department; manage documentation for all equipment leaving/returning.
• Monitor status of all rental equipment inventory, including maintenance and fleet size.
• Prepare rental equipment (wash, grease, fluids check).
• Coordinate transportation of new and rental equipment; manage trucking schedules.
• Assist with loading/unloading parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with parts, supplies, and service customers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
