Job summary

Bobcat of The Rockies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Yard Attendant to wash and detail compact construction equipment while supporting a busy dealership. Our ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in a job well done.

This is a guaranteed hourly wage position with potential for bonus and overtime hours, based on experience. Join a team that values safety, efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year general labor experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn our business.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment including washing, greasing, checking fluid levels and operation.
• Loading/unloading rental equipment and attachments with basic operation checks.
• Loading and unloading equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Cleaning and yard organization including wash bay upkeep.
• Assisting customers and store departments as needed.
• Assist service department with duplicating customer complaints or failures.
• Additional general labor as assigned.

Bobcat of The Rockies – Colorado Springs is seeking a Yard Attendant! We are looking for a candidate that enjoys washing and detailing compact construction equipment to join our busy dealership. Our ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in a job well done.

Guaranteed Hourly Wage Position - $20-24/hour based on experience

Potential for Bonus and Overtime hours!

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment which includes, Washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading of rental equipment and attachments which includes: Proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns as needed.
• Loading and unloading of equipment and supplies on trucks and trailers
• Sweeping and cleaning which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal
• Assisting customers and store which includes, helping with all departments of the store.
• Assisting service department with duplication of customer complaint or failure.
• Additional general labor as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
