Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC, an employee-owned family of businesses, seeks a shop-based equipment mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment. You will work on engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and lift components, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Training and growth opportunities are provided in a safety-driven setting. Qualified candidates have 1+ year experience in equipment repair, strong work ethic, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1+ year of equipment repair experience.
• Strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn in a safety-driven shop environment.
• Comfort with physical demands, lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and lift components.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and basic troubleshooting per standards.
• Follow safety procedures during disassembly, repairs and welding as needed.
• Complete service documentation, maintain parts/tools and keep the shop clean and safe.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and lift components
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting to manufacturer and company standards
• Follow all safety procedures while assisting with equipment disassembly, repairs, and basic welding as needed
• Complete service documentation, maintain parts and tools, and keep the shop clean and safe
