Job summary

Foley Industries in Kansas City seeks a Rental Fleet Manager to optimize the financial performance of our rental fleet. You will analyze data, manage fleet investments, and drive ROI across divisions.

The role requires coordinating maintenance, regulating downtime and costs, and ensuring safety and compliance. Travel for training and site support is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Experience in the construction and/or rental industry.
• Previous experience in an equipment fleet management role.

Responsibilities

• Drive fleet ROI by managing fleet investment and analyzing key metrics such as utilization and rental rates.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of the rental fleet, including downtime and maintenance costs.
• Prioritize machine repair and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies.
• Build rapport with senior leaders and align priorities to achieve shared goals.
• Foster cross-department communication to boost safety, customer satisfaction, quality and teamwork.
• Travel required for training and to assist at other locations.

Are you a financially savvy, data-driven professional with a skill for optimizing assets and maximizing ROI? We're seeking a Rental Fleet Manager to take charge of our rental fleet's financial performance. This role demands a strategic thinker who thrives on analyzing data and making impactful decisions. What You Will Do in This Role:

• Drive fleet ROI across divisions by managing fleet investment (units and dollars) and analyzing all key metrics, including but not limited to, fleet utilization, rental rates, and inventory.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance and repairs of rental fleet, including managing:
• Downtime
• Maintenance expense to income dollars
• Prioritization of machine repair
• Rental fleet's regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies
• Build a rapport with senior leaders, align priorities, and achieve shared goals.
• Foster effective communication within departments to enhance safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and teamwork, while fostering employee growth.
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated success in asset management, with a track record of optimizing returns.
• Exceptional customer relations and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Possesses a basic understanding of mechanical systems and nomenclature
• Understands usage and application of all rental equipment and services offered
• Basic understanding of construction equipment
• Exhibits advanced skills in database, reporting, or analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Access, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to drive and valid driver's license required.
