Gillman Home Center is seeking a full-time rental mechanic to keep equipment clean, maintained, and ready for customers. The role includes performing repairs, ordering parts, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of machine maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and Stihl certification is preferred with training provided. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 years related experience.
• 1+ years knowledge of general machine maintenance.
• Valid driver's license; Chauffeur's license preferred but not required.
• Stihl certification preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all rental equipment.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance; generate POs for repairs.
• Purchase small tools and supplies for repairs.
• Inspect equipment to meet safety policies.
• Check out rental items; complete contracts and take payments.
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment as needed.
• Set up and take down rental equipment.
• Assist in lumber yard and inside the store as needed.
• Repair Stihl certified equipment.
