Job summary

Mustang Cat is hiring a Rental Coordinator in Northwest Houston to guide customers through the rental process from inquiry to billing, ensuring on-time delivery and top-notch service. You will coordinate equipment availability, quotes, and rental documentation while collaborating with operations and service teams to optimize equipment utilization.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technical Studies, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment applications and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers by phone, email, and in person to identify equipment solutions that meet their rental needs.
Prepare quotes, process rental agreements, and coordinate rental transactions from start to finish.
Coordinate customer requests and ensure timely fulfillment of rental orders.
Schedule and dispatch transportation for equipment deliveries, transfers, and returns.
Utilize internal systems and resources to verify equipment availability and coordinate rentals efficiently.
Monitor rental contracts, billing, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
Work closely with operations, service, and other branch personnel to maximize equipment utilization and customer satisfaction.
