Ohio CAT Rental Store, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is seeking a Rental Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, sales staff, and personnel. You will coordinate rental sales and support services, manage reservations, and ensure smooth information flow for the equipment fleet.

Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with rental equipment are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of customer service experience, preferably in heavy equipment or equipment rental.
• Proficiency in MS Office required.
• General knowledge of rental equipment and services offered preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will be the primary point of contact for all customers, sales personnel, and other company personnel at the CAT Rental Store. The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating rental sales and support services, communication, and information flow for equipment rental fleet by determining customer rental needs and handling all corresponding rental reservations. Strong customer service will be vital in this position.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in customer service required, preferred experience in the heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industry.
• Excellent computer skills – proficiency in MS Office required.
• General knowledge of rental equipment and services offered preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
