Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking a Rental Store Manager to develop the rental services business and drive profitability at our on-site office. You will lead a team, ensure top-tier customer service, and guide change as we grow our rental operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial acumen, and hands-on training of staff in product knowledge, operations, and systems. This is an on-site position with growth opportunities at Ohio Cat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in rental store operations, including sales, service, and systems.
• Experience in the rental industry or equivalent required.
• Previous business management experience and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Working knowledge of rental software and MS Office.
• Ability to train others on products, operations, sales, service, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead with strong people skills; communicate effectively and teach responsibilities to new team members.
• Coordinate programs and logistics; delegate tasks to keep the organization on track.
• Monitor financial reporting (P/L and balance sheets) and control expenses; ensure accurate monthly reporting.

Summary:

The Rental Store Manager will drive the development of the rental services business for Ohio CAT. As Ohio CAT continues to grow their rental businesses, we will face different sets of challenges, which will require different types of support. This position will identify areas of improving operations and maximizing profits while providing the highest standard of customer service. To be effective, a Rental Store Manager must be willing to accept and assist in driving change. This role requires on-site work at our office.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Must be a leader with great people skills,anenthusiastic personality, a proven communicator, andtheability to teach job responsibilities to new team members.
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to coordinate programs and logistics associated with the programsarerequired and must be able to delegate effectively, keeping the organization on track.
• Understands all facets of financial reporting (P/L statements and Balance sheets) and along with controlling expenses within the company, monitors the G/L distribution of income and expenses to assure accurate reporting each month.
• Must have assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting on the performance of each store.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is required, and a college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must have experience and training in the understanding ofstart-upprocedures necessary for a rental store, knowledge of operations, sales, service, and systems.
• Experience in the renal industry or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous business management experience and mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• A working knowledge ofIrental, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and equipment is required.
• Must be able to perform and explain every job in the rental store, and organize and deliver basic training on products, operations, sales, service, and systems.
