Summary

The Billing Coordinator II is responsible for researching and billing exception agreements in assigned districts. Duties include auditing billing exceptions, working Salesforce cases, researching and processing revenue rejections and vehicle changes (VCNs). End-of-month responsibilities include working accruals, submitting journal entries, and researching district variances. Excellent communication skills are essential to interface effectively with operating locations and internal departments.

Essential Functions
  1. Research and release billing exceptions daily for assigned districts.
  2. Understand and investigate mileage variances and exceptions.
  3. Provide backup support for other Billing Coordinators.
  4. Communicate with field operations via email or phone.
  5. Research discrepancies or previous billings to ensure accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general software knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, thorough, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Flexible schedule availability for month-end close (1st, 2nd, and 3rd workdays).
  • Customer service skills.
  • Effective task prioritization and scheduling to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work efficiently remotely.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
Additional Information

Position is non-DOT regulated, categorized under Credit & Collections, with hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00.
